CAREER/TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTIONS : Directory

The Middle States Commission on Secondary Schools accredits institutions with non-degree granting, postsecondary career and technology programs. The accredited institutions are:

Institutes that are candidates for accreditation:

*Accredited through Middle States Association's Reflections on Standards of Quality (Career and Technical Version)^© protocol. Therefore, this Middle States accreditation may be used to establish eligibility to apply for participation in Title IV, HEA programs.
**Accredited through a collaborating agreement with the Council on Occupational Education using COE's accreditation protocol. Therefore, this Middle States accreditation may not be used to establish eligibility to apply for participation in Title IV, HEA programs.
***Seeking expansion of accreditation to include postsecondary, non-degree granting programs.

1. The Commission on Secondary Schools takes accreditation actions according to the following schedule--
   • April - Institutions evaluated in the previous fall semester
   • October - Institutions evaluated in the previous spring semester
2. When an institution is scheduled for an onsite accreditation visit for the purpose of accreditation or reaccreditation, the Commission on Secondary Schools invites third-party comments by those that have knowledge of the institution's qualifications for accreditation, especially its compliance with the Standards for Accreditation for Career and Technical Institutions.
   1. Only comments directly related to the institution's compliance with the Standards for Accreditation of Career and Technical Institutions and other requirements for accreditation will be accepted. The Standards for Accreditation and other requirements for accreditation may be viewed at the Commission's website www.css-msa.org;
   2. Comments must be in writing and include the commenter's name and address and permission for the comments to be shared with the institution;
   3. Comments must be received in the Commission's office not later than 30 days prior to the first day of the scheduled accreditation visit; and
   4. Written comments may be sent to:
