Directions to workshops held elsewhere will be faxed along with confirmations to the workshop.

Directions to the MSA Office

Travel west on Market Street through the traffic light at 36th Street. Parking is available in a garage and a parking lot across the street from 3624 Market Street at an hourly rate ($20.00 for the day). Metered parking is also available on the street. There is also a parking garage at the Sheraton on the corner of 36th and Chestnut.

FROM the Pennsylvania Turnpike (and the west):

Exit the turnpike at #24 (Valley Forge) and follow I-76 East (the Schuylkill Expressway) approximately 20 miles into Philadelphia. Exit I-76 at the Market Street/30th Street exit. Turn right at the top of the ramp, go around the railroad station to Market Street (2nd light), and turn right onto Market Street. see above

FROM Delaware (and the south):

Take I-95/495 North to Exit 13, the I-76 West (University City) exit, the first exit past the airport exit. After crossing the George C. Platt Bridge, turn left at the light. This access road (26th Street) will merge with I-76 West. Follow I-76 west to the Amtrak/Septa and 30th Street exit. Cross Chestnut Street at the top of the ramp. Turn left onto Market Street (west) at the next light. see above

or

Take I-95/495 North to the I-676 West (Center City Philadelphia) exit. Proceed onto I-676 West toward Center City and the International AIrport. After the Broad Street exit, move into the right lane. Follow the signs and exit toward the International Airport and 30th Street Station (I-76 East). DO NOT go toward Valley Forge. After going under I-76, bear right at the fork toward 30th Street Station. Turn right at the top of the ramp, go around the railroad station to Market Street (2nd light), and turn right onto Market Street. see above

FROM New York City (and the north):

Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit #4. Proceed onto Route 73 North toward Philadelphia and the Betsy Ross Bridge. Bear left onto Route 90 toward the Betsy Ross Bridge. Cross the bridge (toll bridge) and take the left exit toward Center City Philadelphia (I-95 South). Follow I-95 South to I-676 West (Vine Street Expressway). Exit toward Center City, I-676 West, staying in the left lane of the exit ramp. Follow the expressway through the city to the exit for I-76 East (International Airport). After the Broad Street exit, move into the right lane for the I-76 East exit. Take this exit and take the 30th Street exit BEFORE merging with I-76 East. Turn right at the top of the ramp, go around the railroad station to Market Street (2nd light), and turn right onto Market Street. see above

FROM Northern Pennsylvania or New Jersey:

Take I-95 South to the I-676 West (Vine Street Expressway) exit. Follow the expressway through the city to the exit for I-76 East (International Airport). After the Broad Street exit, move into the right lane for the I-76 East exit. Take this exit and take the 30th Street exit BEFORE merging with I-76 East. Turn right at the top of the ramp, go around the railroad station to Market Street (2nd light), and turn right onto Market Street. see above

Via Amtrak:

Travel to Philadelphia via Amtrak and exit at the 30th Street station. The office is a 6-block walk away from downtown up Market Street (turn right onto Market Street). You will be traveling west on Market Street. A shuttle bus (the LUCY, Green Loop) is available to take you to 36th and Market Streets. Taxicabs are also available at the station..

Once you've arrived at the building:

Enter the building and take the hallway on the left side of the entrance. Follow that hallway all the way back -- it angles left. You'll see an elevator on your right. The Middle States Association Office is on the second floor. If the doors are closed, use the telephone in the vestibule to alert us to your arrival (instructions are posted).

Directions FROM the MSA Office to New York City/Northern New Jersey:
Proceed east on Market Street. As you pass 30th Street Amtrak station on your left, get into the left turning lane. DO NOT CROSS THE RIVER. Turn left (between the train station and the river) following the signs to I-676 East and I-76 West. Get into the right lane. Proceed through the light and go under the railroad bridge. Follow the sign to I-676 East by bearing right at the fork. Merge onto I-676 East. Get into the left lane. Follow signs to I-95 North (Trenton). Merge onto I-95 North. Follow signs to Betsy Ross Bridge (Route 90). Take the Betsy Ross Bridge exit from I-95 North, cross the Betsy Ross Bridge (no toll in this direction) and follow Route 90 until it merges with Route 73 South. Follow Route 73 South, crossing I-295. After crossing I-295, get into the second lane from the right (the road goes from 2 lanes to 4 lanes). The entrance to the New Jersey Turnpike (Exit 4) is just past the exit for Fellowship Road.
